The Calculated Risk Project (2010)

The Calculated Risk Project explores the different genders’ perceptions of interdependence, vulnerability, and trust with explosive energy, intimacy, and humour. Seeking harmony in dissonance, the performers unabashedly confront each other with a rough-and-ready physicality that marries tenderness and threat. There are no holds barred, no taboos, no pleasantries—just raw physical dialogue. This is a story of compromise, negotiation, and perseverance.

choreographed by David Albert-Toth & Emily Gualtieri
